Through discipline
and well-thought out management of his holdings, Abassi came out well in
the black despite taking a major hit. In 1986 RTI Properties, Inc. was
created by Robert Abbasi, a well-seasoned veteran in the real estate
industry. No stranger to hard work and the subsequent results that come
from it, Robert Abbasi began his auspicious career by first obtaining
an undergraduate degree in Economics from USC, where he also secured his
MBA from the Marshall School of Business, with honors. He has served as an
advisor and consultative friend to many within and without the industry,
delving into a myriad of fields that have brought him into contact with
various institutions, investors, brokers, property managers, bank
execs, and lawyers of various areas. This
association with many
prominent figures in the Los Angeles basin whether they be bankers,
attorneys, real estate and financial brokers has allowed him to glean
much general knowledge of how business is done in Southern California;
this has helped him to make his own personal business of real estate to
prosper even further. There is no better way to learn something than to force oneself to teach
it to others, a lesson that Abbasi knew too well. While also helming RTI Property Management as its President, Robert
Abbasi also served on the Board of Directors of Western Commercial Bank
in LA -- a bank which he incidentally helped found -- as well as serving
on the Loan / ALCO Committees. Abbasi’s knowledge and experience
within the realm of Robert Abbasi real estate has proven to be
invaluable, all the hard work he had put in previously has really held
him in good stead. In addition to his success with RTI Properties,
Robert Abbasi also enjoys the notoriety of serving as a former Bank
Board Director for a well-established bank in Los Angeles.

Robert Abbasi has enjoyed an impressive resume and list of accolades and
accomplishments. Within the first few years of starting his own
business, he turned an initial personal investment from brokerage
earnings into a formidable portfolio of key real estate holdings.
Although the 1990’s real estate collapse hit everyone fairly hard,
Robert Abbasi had the vision of a contrarian to understand that this
more an opportunity than a disaster, especially with expensive
properties now selling for pennies on the dollar. With more than 30 years of experience in both banking and real estate,
Abbasi’s influence and connections is far reaching. Beginning in 1983,
Robert Abbasi began work as a senior investment consultant for The Hanes
Company, where he cut his teeth marketing and selling various types of
commercial real estate. He also was the Assistant Manager for the south
bay regional office, being a senior trainer. Robert Abbasi enjoys an
excellent reputation within the industry for his integrity, knowledge,
and ability to execute while under pressure. Soon after graduating, he plunged straight away into the world of Robert Abbasi commercial real estate, working as a commercial real estate investment advisor who successfully process over $300,000,000 in transactions.
